From high-budget complex shoots to micro-budget passion projects, Audrey Lorea is committed to bringing excellence to the table in everything she does.

In addition to screenwriting, Audrey has worked behind the scenes in the film, media, and episodic industry for over twelve years. In July 2024, her script “Starblood” received a scholarship for the Stowe Story Labs Writers Retreat. She was the winner of a 2021 Stowe Story Lab fellowship, sponsored by HollyShorts Film Festival. Other screenwriting placements include the WeScreenplay TV Pilot Competition, Final Draft’s Big Break Screenwriting Contest, ScreenCraft Drama Competition, Filmmatic Inroads Screenwriting Fellowship, Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards, the Nashville Film Festival Screenwriting Competition.

She was an Associate Producer on a limited episodic series called “The Green Veil” starring John Leguizamo, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and can be streamed on The Network. She produced the film “For Armetta," directed by Academy-Award winner Kevin Wilson, Jr. and Executive Produced by Angela Bassett. She consulted on the feature films “Abe,” starring Noah Schnapp which premiered at Sundance Film Festival, as well as “Framing John Delorean" (Alec Baldwin) and “The Artist's Wife" (Lena Olin, Bruce Dern).

Audrey has worked extensively in Location Scouting and Management, which has armed her with the necessary experience to thrive in the demanding landscape of scripted television.  

Her debut micro-budget feature film, “Heaven is Now,” was the First Prize Feature Film winner and premiered in Los Angeles at Film Crash, co-founded by Sundance Jury Winner Matthew Harrison. She was the second unit director of the road-trip film, ‘Detours’ (featuring Richard Kind, Paul Sorvino). Other producing credits include “Rufus” (Moxie Pictures), “Green Eyes” (Whiplash Films), “Twice Upon a Time,” and “Girl Night Stand” which garnered press with Bustle, Huffington Post and more.

Before her film career, Audrey worked briefly in the nonprofit sector. With a degree in International Relations and Global Economics, she did research with the Ford Foundation on Human Rights Initiatives and also worked in peacekeeping.  

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Audrey is passionate about advocating for and volunteering with at-risk youth. When she isn’t working on a project, she loves hiking in nature and traveling with her partner and dogs.
